ROLE: Designer/Art Director

Dock Street Press, an independent publisher based in Seattle, WA, produced over a dozen books in its run from 2012 – 2017. In my role as the designer/art director I created the company branding, worked closely with editor Dane Bahr to concept and design book covers and designed the interior page layouts.

CLIENT: DELTA DENTAL

ROLE: Designer + Author/Illustrator

Delta Dental of Washington and The Tooth Fairy Experience campaign has created programing and resources to teach children about healthy smiles across the state of Washington. In my role as the designer + author/illustrator I designed and illustrated a cast of tooth fairies for use throughout the campaign and on educational materials. I also authored two picture books (with a third on the way), a coloring book and activity sheets. I put to use my print design skills and not only wrote and illustrated the projects, but also designed the typography and page layouts of each.

CLIENT: BACKSTAGE DANCE STUDIO

ROLE: Designer/Instructor/Choreographer 

I have been an instructor at Backstage Dance Studio since 2011. Beyond teaching and choreographing, I designed the company re-brand and a number of print materials and apparel. I also worked with studio director Marty Roberts to develop the “Shapes of Dance” for our young dancer curriculum.
